Marendar is a robot, one of the many creations of the Great Beings, meant to end the Toa in case they turned evil. He is immune to all elemental powers and Kanohi abilities. Although Nuva masks still affect him.
Story[]
He was created by the Great beings to destroy every Toa on Spherus Magna Incase of a robot uprising. When the Matoran and Toa joined the Agori, he was awakened.
It was implied by Axonn that he destroyed Marendar by the events of Bionicle: Blazing Brotherhood.
