Nurxof was a new warrior of fire who was supposed to appear in Bionicle: Brotherhood of Flames.
Nurxof's Shadow Fire Lord form (only while possessed by Maori Nui)
Story (non-canon)[]
Nurxof comes from another planet, and joined up with Lhikan's team to help defeat the Shadowed One once and for all. It is unknown if he was assigned to the mission by his superiors, or if he was helping the Toa on his own will. He is also shown to be a reckless hothead, more so than Tahu used to be, and that almost got his team killed in a skirmish with Triglax and Lariska. It is later revealed, when the Shadowed One is captured, that his way of fighting and refusal to comply with orders is the consequence of a mission gone bad, largely because at least one of Nurxof's superiors was too ruthless and corrupt to let him save his teammates in time. Nurxof is then unknowingly possessed by the corrupt Great Being Maori Nui, killing the Shadowed One and becoming a Dark Fire Lord. But despite his incredible new powers, Maori Nui was eventually destroyed by Tahu, and Nurxof was saved, returning to his previous form. The red warrior expresses his gratitude to the Toa and agrees to train with Ahzoka as his new partner.

- His name was originally Nikana, which is Anakin spelled backwards.
- He resembles William Furno from Hero Factory, and his name is an anagram of "Furno", with the addition of an "X".
- This naming scheme was inspired by the Organization XIII in Kingdom Hearts.
- Although Nurxof himself was scrapped, his Shadow Fire Lord form is still utilized by Maori Nui as the final boss.
